Danger.. Warning!!!!!

My mind is fried today.  Seriously fried.   I am a walking pile of incoherent babbling on legs.

My to-do list for this week looks like it hasn’t even been touched and I am on mental overload.

So here is my Top Ten List of things I do to de-stress, in no particular order:

  1. Bubble Bath – unfortunately this also seems to end up being “conference with Mommy” time.  I guess they figured out that I am a captive audience when in the tub.
  2. Make Bread Dough – Nothing beats a good dough pounding to get rid of frustration. Half the time I don’t even bake it.  It winds up in the freezer.
  3. Meat pounding- When I can’t bake bread, sometimes making chicken breasts into paper thin cutlets will get the ARRRRG out.
  4. Dance – Sometimes it helps to crank the stereo on high and make a fool out of myself.  I also count this as exercise.
  5. Weed the garden – It needs it, badly.  And I find that I can take my frustrations out on weeds for 10 minutes and feel the stress melt away.  I just pretend I am ripping someone’s head off. (did I say that out loud?)
  6. Organize the closets- You can judged my stress level by how clean my closets are.  That is pretty sad.
  7. Play a “war” game on facebook – At the moment I occasionally play Drinking Wars.  Mafia Wars got to hectic/dramatic, as if you were really shooting THEM!
  8. Build something – It doesn;t even really have to be anything, even hammering nails into a piece of scrapwood dos the trick.
  9. Take a bike ride – I don;t do this often anymore because The Girl has commandeered my bike and my bike seat is as hard as a rock.
  10. When all else fails.. Wine.  This is where I am now, enough said.
